Pilot Study for Cancer Sleep Disturbance

This study is being conducted by Dr. Jennifer Huberty with the College of Health Solutions at Arizona State University. This study is being conducted in affiliation with Calm. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of a mobile application on cancer patient symptoms. We are seeking to enroll cancer patients within two years of diagnosis that suffer from sleep disturbances or poor quality sleep. Eligible, consented, and enrolled participants will be randomized to one of three unique groups asked to use a mobile application, receive free access to a consumer-based mobile app, and up to $40 for completion of study measures. The study lasts a total of 12 weeks in duration, including an 8-week intervention period and a 4-week follow-up period.
